We are very pleased with our results. Particular highlights are English with 70% and 79%, Maths with 70% and Science with 76% and 81% which are once again well above national average. Triple science (Biology, Physics and Chemistry) results are at 100%. We have excellent results for higher grades: 15% A*A in Maths, 56% A*A in Religious Studies, 33% A*A in Biology, 52% A*A in Physics and 38% A*A in Chemistry. Arts subjects performed extremely well with 91% (Art) , 94% (Textiles) and 83% (Photography).
Other measures of achievement:
5A*-C including Science is 68%
3 levels of progress in English is 79% and 4 levels progress is 26%
3 levels of progress in Maths is 70% and 4 levels progress is 34%
The average attainment 8 grade per pupil is a grade 5.

The academy will be open from 2pm till 4pm on the 26th August to purchase uniform. Cheque or cash payments only.
All year 6 students coming to the Academy for transition week must arrive at the school reception for 8.30am on Monday 29th June. Staff and students will be on hand to welcome the students.
A taxi service will be running for those students whom have requested from Whiteley and Locksheath areas (please contact email@example.com or firstname.lastname@example.org for more information).
The academy day runs from 8.30am until 2.30pm each day.
Students are to wear their current school uniform for the week and bring a pair of trainers on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday as they will be doing some practical activities.
Students can bring their own packed lunch or bring money to buy food from our canteen (those students with free school meals will get a hot lunch from the canteen). We advise that students bring plenty of fluids especially during hot weather.
The Academy will be providing pizza and chips for lunch on Tuesday so the students can sample our canteen food and eat as a year group.
If you do not wish for your son/daughter to have any photos taken of them by the academy on transition week could you please let us know at reception on Monday.
All Year 10 Geographers are invited to attend controlled assessment booster sessions held on a Thursday afterschool in C8. Students will be able to get guidance from both Mr Stewart and Miss Ogram on how best to enhance their controlled assessment on Hengistbury Head to help them reach their target grade.
