Year 6 Transition Week

All year 6 students coming to the Academy for transition week must arrive at the school reception for 8.30am on Monday 29th June. Staff and students will be on hand to welcome the students.

A taxi service will be running for those students whom have requested from Whiteley and Locksheath areas (please contact or for more information).

The academy day runs from 8.30am until 2.30pm each day.

Students are to wear their current school uniform for the week and bring a pair of trainers on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday as they will be doing some practical activities.

Students can bring their own packed lunch or bring money to buy food from our canteen (those students with free school meals will get a hot lunch from the canteen). We advise that students bring plenty of fluids especially during hot weather.

The Academy will be providing pizza and chips for lunch on Tuesday so the students can sample our canteen food and eat as a year group.

If you do not wish for your son/daughter to have any photos taken of them by the academy on transition week could you please let us know at reception on Monday.
